The Roninverse is a subverse of the Knightverse, focused on stories rooted in Samurai culture, Japanese history, Yakuza clan warfare, and martial arts masters. Its history is rich – from the humble beginnings of the original Black Ronin Legend to his present-day counterpart and the evolution of the Yakuza. Each story contained within the Roninverse adds to the foundation of the Knightverse itself, providing a deep grounding for story and character arcs across volumes. 

This collection revolves around themes of honour, duty, justice, and vengeance. It pays homage to the traditions and culture of feudal Japan, later adapting these to reflect shifts in culture and technology of the modern-day Knightverse.
